Aluminum has been used throughout the building industry for more than 40 years. It is lightweight, exceptionally strong, and highly conductive. Biossun bioclimatic patio covers are crafted from an aluminum alloy that is 98% recyclable and weighs only 3.7 lb per 3 linear feet. Careful control of the manufacturing process ensures a unique design that integrates seamlessly with any type of architecture while providing optimal natural ventilation. With more than 100 colors and finishes available, our powder-coating process meets stringent certification standards for long-lasting color and protection.

Biossun bioclimatic patio covers are designed at our production site in Isère, at the foot of the mountains. Our design office, R&D team, and quality assurance team work every day to advance sun protection, anticipate trends, and respect the natural environment. More than 10 patents protect our expertise. We meet a wide range of needs by equipping our bioclimatic covers with intelligent, integrated systems that let users choose between shade and sunlight. As an active participant working with the CSTB (Scientific and Technical Center for Building), we also help develop standards through rigorous design and manufacturing requirements.
